Why do we love dinner parties more than we love dinner and parties? Well to start with, they’re just like regular parties except you know who’s coming and you’re pretty sure they won’t break your outdoor furniture. Not to mention dinner parties are much easier to host than regular parties because everyone knows exactly what to do: we know there will be standing around and drinking at the start, and then sitting down and eating in the middle, and then later you will change seats because your neighbors are boring, and then at the end you’ll publicly lament your poor posture and financial situation and go ahead and outstay your welcome. It’s a story as old as time itself.

So what does this have to do with FWB, exactly?

FWB wants to make it as easy as possible for you to connect with other members IRL, so has decided it will be dishing out up to $250 USDC to members hosting dinner parties across the world as part of its new 

 initiative. Have an amazing space or a knack for cooking up delicious food and fun party vibes? Then gather your local FWB squad and apply to be a verified dinner-party host 

Avid readers (of at least the past two newsletters) will be aware that the FWB Product Team has proposed to form a separate, partly-FWB-owned entity tasked with expanding use cases for the $FWB token. To zoom out for a second, the way these proposals usually work is:

Members come up with a cool idea for the DAO

 and work with the team to craft a proposal fit for member consumption 

The refined proposal is put up for community discussion for ~5 days in 

The proposal is then usually revised and put up on 

All of this is to say that the Product Team’s proposal is now live on Snapshot for the next five days, and waiting for your vote. As detailed as the Snapshot proposal may be, it behooves you to also check out the informed discussion going on in the 

, and ask any questions you may have, before casting your vote. That’s right, I said behooves, and I’d do it again!
